    How To Root And Install CWM On Samsung Galaxy Note N7000

    If you want to get the most out of your Samsung Galaxy Note N7000, you’ve come to the right place. This will be a tutorial on how to root and install CWM on the Samsung Galaxy Note N7000. Please make sure this is your device, you can check by going into Settings->About Phone->Model Number.

    Requirements

    • Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 running stock firmware, non-rooted
    • PhilZ-cwm6-XXXXX-XXX-X.X-signed.zip file (see instructions)

    Instructions

    1. Go to the XDA developer post
    2. Open up the phone dialer on your Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 and type in *#1234#
    3. Find the PDA of your phone i.e. N7000DXLR5
    4. On the XDA developer post, match your PDA number with one of the available i.e.  PhilZ-cwm6-DXLR5-OLB-v2.5.zip(use CTRL + F to sift through the results by typing in the appropriate PDA number)
    5. Download the correct file and transfer it via USB to your Samsung Galaxy Note N7000
    6. Disconnect USB and enter the stock recovery mode by holding down the home button, power button, and volume up button
    7. Navigate around the recovery mode by using the volume up and down buttons and power button for selection
    8. Select apply update from internal storage
    9. Find the PhilZ-cwm6-XXXXX-XXX-X.X-signed.zip you appropriately downloaded earlier
    10. Select reboot system now after flashing
    11. Your done! Reboot and enjoy root and clockwork recovery mod on your Samsung Galaxy Note N7000
