For those of us looking to further improve on this speed though, there is always overclocking. With this Ninphetamin3 kernel we can overclock the processor to 1.8GHz!     Requirements

    • Stock Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 with Original Firmware
    • Download the kernel from: here and the Odin Program from: here
    • A processor clock program (We recommend SetCPU)

    Instructions

    • Extract the downloaded files
    • In the Odin folder, right click the Odin3 v3.04.exe file
    • Select Run As Administrator
    • Click the PDA button and navigate to the extracted kernel folder
    • Here, find the ninphetamin3-release-1.2.1.tar.md5 and select it
    • Click the Start button to start flashing the kernel to your phone
    • Wait until you get a PASS! from Odin and your phone reboots
    • Your done enjoy!

    Now you can control your processor speed up to 1.8GHz, and feel the differences when navigating around.

      my screen went blank too but I was able to restore my operating system since I backed it up on to my sd card. any solutions?

        Overclock on this may be too high for your device to handle unfortunately, happened to me when I tried to overclock my Nexus 7 to 1.8GHz
